Power on five axles: Auto-Klug is investing again in Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1

"We have been using a Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 crane since 2019 and are extremely satisfied with it. The new order of identical equipment makes the work of our drivers easier and ensures smooth processes for approvals, transport and assembly and disassembly” explains Christina Glück, general manager of Alfred Klug GmbH & Co. KG.

With synergies to more efficiency

Sebastian Häger, general manager at Auto-Klug, adds that their decision for the Liebherr LTM 1250-5.1 was very deliberate: “It is not only the most powerful 5-axle crane on the market but can also be used very flexibly. Another benefit is that the comprehensive range of accessories for our existing crane is fully compatible with the new machine. That creates synergies, saves time and costs and increases efficiency in daily use.

With the new addition, the family-run company fleet now consists of 45 mobile cranes and loading cranes, including two LTM 1250-5.1, one LTM 1150-5.3 and three Liebherr MK 88 mobile construction cranes. The new Liebherr mobile crane will be used primarily on bridge construction sites, for erecting transformer stations and for moving concrete elements – at all sites of the company throughout Germany.

The investment improves the capacity of Auto-Klug in the heavy-duty sector and underlines the long-standing partnership with Liebherr. “We rely on Liebherr because we have had very good experiences with their service and support by their customer and field service for many years” says Glück. “The investment is another step towards offering our customers reliable and efficient solutions.”
