With the MyLiebherr online platform for construction machines and related product segments, Liebherr offers customers a comprehensive range of services and applications. MyLiebherr provides customers, service partners and Liebherr employees with access to a wide range of online services. Liebherr is expanding its extensive digital offering in the earthmoving and material handling sectors with two new services: MyLiebherr Performance and MyLiebherr Maintenance. This further improves digital machine management for customers. As part of the rollout in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA, customers in these countries will receive six months’ free access.
These two new services provide customers with new functions within the MyLiebherr portal relating to their Liebherr machines registered on the portal. MyLiebherr Maintenance is a new service that enables customers to operate their earthmoving and material handler fleets with maximum reliability. With MyLiebherr Performance, customers have a clear, consolidated overview of performance data for earthmoving and material handlers.
Integrated into the MyLiebherr portal, MyLiebherr Maintenance provides support to workshop managers to minimise unplanned machine downtime and reduce the time required for problem identification, assessment and resolution. A status overview clearly lists all the fleet operator’s machines and attachments. A traffic light system records the machine’s status, allowing machines requiring immediate action to be identified at a glance. Further, visually distinct traffic light displays enable notifications to be narrowed down by cause, such as upcoming maintenance or low fluid levels. In a machine detail view, all relevant status information for each machine, active notifications sorted by priority and notification date, and the service history can be viewed again. MyLiebherr Maintenance also displays recommendations for action to the user that correspond to the displayed notification and help resolve the issue. With MyLiebherr Maintenance, upcoming maintenance tasks can also be optimally monitored and planned in the same way as on the machine display. This allows service activities to be bundled and tailored to operational requirements. Information such as the location and date of the service appointment, as confirmed by the service partner, is also available.
Digital solutions at Liebherr are intelligently linked. Consequently, using MyLiebherr Maintenance offers a further advantage: the link to the MyAssistant for Earthmoving app. Through this connection, machine operators can immediately record and submit damage reports. To ensure rapid problem resolution, workshop managers can also view the MyAssistant damage reports in the service history, for example. This creates a seamless digital connection between the machine, the app and service processes.
Essentially, MyLiebherr Performance can be used, for example, to identify inefficient machine operations, reduce idle time and thereby save fuel, as well as to analyse weighing data. Combining the insights gained from this with Liebherr’s extensive expertise enables operating companies to reduce operating costs through optimisation suggestions and to organise machine operations more efficiently.
Furthermore, with MyLiebherr Performance, operating companies can quickly gain an overview of which machine is being utilised to what extent via the utilisation overview. Another feature allows the consumption figures of individual machines to be displayed and compared with a global average. Using the group comparison function, machine groups can be created individually according to the type of operation or machine category and thus compared in terms of working and idle hours as well as consumption. This enables the utilisation rate to be increased, adjustments to be made to machine scheduling, or internal benchmarks to be carried out. Thanks to the Geo-Track map, past machine locations can be queried and represented on a map – allowing an operational history to be visually documented. In addition, this function is used to analyse routes and optimise them, if necessary, for example to make workflows more efficient or to increase safety at potential hazard points.
With the increasing digital connectivity of machines, Liebherr has created the key to digitalisation in the form of Liebherr Connect. MyLiebherr Maintenance and MyLiebherr Performance are concrete examples of how Liebherr Connect harnesses the added value of digital machine connectivity: based on securely recorded and transmitted machine data, it enables transparent, data-driven maintenance planning throughout the entire lifecycle. Liebherr Connect forms the technical foundation by connecting machines – which can also be retrofitted on older machine generations – to the digital Liebherr world and enabling efficient data exchange via cloud solutions in the MyLiebherr customer portal, so that processes can be optimised and downtime reduced.
