Thanks to the excellent all-round glazing without any obstructive struts and the short, sloping engine bonnet, the machine operator always has an optimal view of the machine's driving, working and articulation areas from the operator's cab. In addition to the excellent all-round visibility, the ergonomically designed cab features intuitive controls. The combination of the visibility concept and intuitive operation ensures a complete overview and high manoeuvrability even in complex application scenarios and under heavy loads.

The TA 230 impresses with a clever machine concept, which has been developed specially for challenging off-road applications. The design in the front-end area creates maximum ground clearance for superb off-road performance. For example, the powershift transmission and exhaust gas treatment system are positioned behind the operator's cab in a space-saving and safe manner. The resulting slope angle allows the machine to manoeuvre safely even in the most difficult terrain. The solid articulated swivel joint provides outstanding offroad gear: it allows independent movement of the front and rear truck, ensuring maximum agility and manoeuvrability. The robust and positive-locking swivel joint with tapered roller bearing is perfect for the shear stresses arising during use, withstands maximum loads and provides optimal force distribution.

Powerful drive with maximum traction: Superb driving performance and combined pulling force

The TA 230 Litronic is equipped with a powerful 6-cylinder construction machinery engine with a displacement of 12 litres and 265 kW / 360 hp, which meets the requirements of various emission stages depending on the configuration.

A robust and efficient drivetrain with automatic 8-speed powershift transmission ensures optimum force transmission. Equipped with four differential locks, the vehicle is ideally applicable for the most difficult ground conditions. Even in these conditions and on the most demanding inclines, the Liebherr dump truck impresses with its excellent driving performance and enormous pulling force. Maximum safety is always guaranteed thanks to optimum adhesion.
