The Liebherr SBSbs 7263 side-by-side appliance has won over the jury of the “Interior Innovation Awards”. The fridge/freezer combination, which sets itself aside from the competition not least with its BlackSteel design, has won the design prize for 2015 in the category “Kitchen and Household”. The Interior Innovation Award will be presented at the trade fairs Imm Cologne and LivingKitchen 2015. The industry award was inaugurated in 2002 by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung) and is considered today to be one of the world's most prestigious design prizes in the field of interior furnishing. It stands for innovative ideas and top performance in all product spheres in the interior furnishing sector.
BlackSteel is a visually attractive black stainless steel. Together with the sophisticated SmartSteel refinement, the innovative material has a timelessly elegant feel. The SBSbs 7263 side-by-side appliance features BioFresh Safe drawers to keep food fresher for longer. These are mounted on telescopic rails and can be pulled out. Besides innovative equipment details such as the variable Premium GlassLine with two removable VarioBoxes and a practical bottle holder, the BlackSteel side-by-side combination also has a NoFrost freezer section with an ice-cube tray. NoFrost technology eliminates the necessity to defrost the appliance.
