Following the takeover, Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH will be responsible for the earthmoving business activities of Libero Baumaschinen GmbH & Co.KG and Libero Bau- und Industriemaschinen GmbH. As part of the acquisition, Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH will take over Libero's existing sales and service network including all of its sites and all employees who will be integrated into the existing area structures. Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH will continue with the rental operations.
The Liebherr Group maintains a global sales and service network which, depending on the region and product area, will be either a separate Liebherr company or an external partner. Libero has been a reliable sales and service partner for Liebherr customers for decades and has enjoyed continued and steady growth under the management of Burkhard Vorwerk. As part of the succession plan, Libero has now decided to transfer business activities to Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH and Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH. Burkhard Vorwerk wishes to thank his staff and Liebherr for the many decades of loyalty and close cooperation.
Liebherr would also like to thank Libero for the long-standing partnership, trust and cooperation and Burkhard Vorwerk for his responsible handling of the succession plan. Working with known and established contacts, Liebherr-Baumaschinen Vertriebs- und Service GmbH and Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH have stated that they will be a reliable and effective partner to all existing and potential customers. This acquisition provides an expanded network of subsidiaries giving Liebherr even greater opportunity to operate successfully in the earthmoving machinery and equipment rental market.
