The Brazilian Imetame Group has added four Liebherr mobile cranes to its vehicle fleet, consisting of LTM 1090 4.2, LTM 1120 4.1, LTM 1250 5.1 and LTM 1230 5.1 models and is thereby increasing its capacities for sophisticated industrial operations. The powerful cranes, which impress with their high lifting capacity, operational safety and efficiency, will play a key role in a large pulp and paper project in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. There, they will be used for central tasks such as heavy lifting operations, the assembly of complex plant structures and the installation of comprehensive pipeline systems.
The investment in four Liebherr mobile cranes illustrates the commitment of the Imetame Group to expanding its technical performance in a selective manner while at the same time meeting the highest safety requirements. “The cranes are perfectly adapted to our operational requirements and ensure productivity and high performance even in complex environments,” says Ronaldo Sarcinelli, Operations Manager at Imetame Metalmecânica.
To cope with the different requirements of the project, Imetame relies on a combination of powerful mobile cranes that complement each other perfectly in their strengths. The LTM 1090-4.2 impresses with its high mobility and efficiency and covers a wide range of application scenarios. The LTM 1120-4.1 is also the most powerful mobile crane in the 4-axle category, whose exceptionally long telescopic boom enables impressive flexibility and reduced transport expenses. The LTM 1250-5.1 is added to the fleet as the world’s most powerful 5-axle mobile crane, which is designed for maximum lifting capacity within the specified axle loads. The portfolio is supplemented by the LTM 1230-5.1 with its particularly long telescopic boom and optional lattice extensions, which provides ideal options for working at great heights and in steep positions.
Liebherr mobile cranes have an all-terrain undercarriage that enables them to be used on public roads as well as in challenging construction site environments. They impress with a high degree of safety, economic efficiency and driver comfort. The LTM cranes quickly reach great working heights with their powerful telescopic boom and can be flexibly and efficiently adapted to different operating requirements due to lattice boom extensions, folding jibs and fixed lattice jibs. Equipped with VarioBase® and VarioBallast®, the cranes provide additional stability and flexibility, in particular in the event of limited space and varying load cases.
Collaboration between the Imetame Group and Liebherr has increased continuously in recent years. “We chose these cranes because their reliability, the first-class quality of the technical support and the comprehensive customer service are essential contributions to ensuring trouble-free operation and maximum productivity,” says Sarcinelli.
With more than 45 years of experience and a workforce of about 5,000, the Imetame Group is one of Brazil’s established companies in the metal processing sector. In addition to its headquarters in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, the company is also active in the natural stone, port logistics, energy, oil and gas sectors.
