In the summer of 2011, the production facility of Liebherr-Aerospace was officially opened in Dzerzhinsk, near Nizhny Novogord (Russia). Today, more than 80 high-qualified employees are responsible for cutting-edge high precision CNC-manufacturing of aircraft equipment components made of steel. The production processes include high velocity oxygen fuel spraying and non-destructive testing methods. Since its beginnings, Liebherr-Aerospace Nizhny Novgorod OOO has been developed continuously into a production facility which maintains a certified quality management system according to EN ISO 9001.The manufactured parts are supplied to Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH, Lindenberg (Germany) for the integration in flight control systems and Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France) for air management systems.In the near future, Liebherr-Aerospace Nizhny Novgorod OOO will expand its production capabilities for components of landing gear systems.
