After the successful completion of the first contract signed in 2015, Liebherr-Transportation Systems was selected again by Keolis Lyon to provide corrective and preventive maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The renewed contract covers a time frame of two years plus two optional years. During this period of time, Liebherr-Transportation Systems will make the mandatory yearly refrigerant leak detection and will supply on-demand repairs and associated spare parts for the systems aboard Citadis trams manufactured by Alstom. Keolis Lyon operates a fleet of 73 Citadis 302 and 19 Citadis 402, representing more than 200 air conditioning systems, which were originally manufactured by third parties.
Eléonor Borrallo-Gautier, Head of the French Site of Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH & Co KG stated: “We are very proud of the confidence shown by Keolis Lyon, which is one of the largest public transportation operators in France, and we will dedicate the full extent of our wide expertise to ensure a high availability of the HVAC systems.”
