Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Toulouse (France) received the award for the best benchmark project from Airbus during the so-called Airbus Procurement Operations “Supply chain and Quality Improvement Program” - in short SQIP - Day 2016. The supplier event takes place every year during which Airbus discusses with its major partners topics such as On Time Delivery (OTD) and Quality (R1) performances as well as the challenges of the market.
This event is also the occasion for Airbus to announce its best suppliers related to OTD and R1 performances. This year, the aircraft manufacturer rewarded Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, Liebherr’s center of excellence for air management systems, for the best SQIP benchmark project. The company’s performance was recognized regarding its implementation of the Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) and its product quality improvement.
“QRQC is a dynamic process conducted by a cross-functional team that is supported by our Management. Daily QRQC will be standardized within our whole division of Liebherr-Aerospace”, explained Fabien Petit, Quality Director of Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS.
