Liebherr will be represented for the first time at the Engine China 2015 with a 36 m² exhibition stand. The focus will be on the common rail fuel injection systems from the company's own development and production.
A special highlight on the exhibition stand will be the common rail fuel injection system 11.2 with a power output of up to 800 kW in total. This advanced common rail system for engines of up to three litres capacity per cylinder allows Liebherr to offer an attractive alternative for both on-highway and off-highway applications, in both medium- and heavy-duty ranges and in the field of industrial engines. The fuel injection system 11.2 is available in two variants – with pressure being fed from the side (side-feed) and from above (top-feed). The systems are adapted to the specific customer application for optimal system integration into the engine and for minimum fuel consumption over the entire engine map.
The common rail system 11.5 for engines of up to five litres capacity per cylinder with a total power output of up to 4,000 kW will also be presented on the exhibition stand. The common rail system 11.5 is configured for operation under tough loads and is, therefore, ideal for the application in mining equipment, railroad technology, gen-sets and maritime applications. With precise multiple injection at pressures of up to 2,200 bar, constant performance and low emission values are guaranteed throughout the engine's service life.
Both systems are perfectly supplemented by Liebherr engine control units from the company's own development and production. The control units unite all control functions, including exhaust gas aftertreatment, in a single unit and are suitable for the toughest of environmental conditions as verified by ISO 15998, ISO 13849 and ISO 61508 SIL2.
