The Brazilian crane company Transnacional is ramping up its crane fleet with a used LG 1750 lattice boom mobile crane from Liebherr, thereby expanding its portfolio of crane services and capacity. To meet market and customer demands, as well as to ensure versatile use, the 8-axle model was selected. Trust in the Liebherr brand, along with safety and reliability, were also crucial factors in the decision to purchase a used vehicle directly from the manufacturer.

With the introduction of the LG 1750 lattice boom mobile crane from Liebherr, Transnacional’s fleet is gaining a new flagship and expanding its array of services. Following an in-depth market analysis and in light of growing demand for large cranes, the crane company from Brazil has chosen to invest in the 750-tonner. The new acquisition will give Transnacional the ability to tap into new sectors of the market and represents a decisive step towards the future.

“The demand for large cranes over 500 tonnes has long since been an issue for us. Our customers were increasingly asking for powerful machinery for complex projects such as in wind energy”, explains Napoleão Luna, Transnacional’s Managing Director. “Following comprehensive technical and economic considerations, we chose the LG 1750 as it offers reliability, safety and exceptional performance. This crane now means we are able to offer our customers first-class solutions in new sectors”, adds Napoleão.

Versatility and mobility combined

The versatility of the LG 1750 is a crucial advantage for Transnacional: the 8-axle crane from Liebherr has the flexibility of a 750-tonne crawler crane combined with the mobility of a high-speed mobile crane. So it combines the benefits of these two crane types in a single concept. “This combination is precisely what we’ve been looking for for our crane fleet”, continues Napoleão. With tremendous load capacities and a wide choice of boom configurations, the LG 1750 is perfectly equipped for various applications in the oil and gas, renewable energies and cellulose and paper sectors, as well as major industrial plants in Brazil.
