Team Lead - ICT Operation (WA)Perth
The Team Lead – ICT Operation is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the IT Operations sub-team within assigned geographical regions/sites. This role involves overseeing the IT Business-As-Usual (BAU) operation, providing 1st and 2nd level IT support, and combining people leadership with technical expertise. The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in advanced IT troubleshooting, supporting the design of systems and processes, and serve as a subject matter expert for projects. The incumbent will lead cross-functional collaboration within the IT teams, aiming to maintain and enhance Liebherr Australia’s ICT operations while ensuring a high level of end-user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT Operations team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT support services across WA.
- Collaborate with other teams to address complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to team members when needed
- Implement measures to enhance user experience and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to minimise system downtime during emergencies.
About you
- 5 years of relevant IT experience in help desk environment
- 1+ years experience leading and managing IT helpdesk teams.
- Qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent Intermediate computer hardware and software installation skills
- Knowledge in the distribution and disposal of classified data/documents/devices
- Change management and user adoption –Training and designing including e-learning
- Determining customer needs and establishing service solutions and forecasts
- Proven ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast‑changing environment
- ITIL 4 certification preferred
