A few weeks after an exciting Conexpo 2026, we are taking another look at ten standout exhibits that showcased the innovation of Liebherr’s product segments. From high‑performance earthmoving machines and zero‑emission material handlers to advanced crane technology, deep foundation machines, as well as efficient components, these highlights underline what makes Liebherr a strong partner for the construction industry today and tomorrow.

The Liebherr Articulated Dump Truck TA 230 is built for heavy off-road duty with an efficient drivetrain and solid axle mounts for challenging terrains. Its design allows easy maintenance, featuring a smart check-up system and full engine bay access to reduce daily maintenance work.

The R 945 G8 delivers strong power and efficient fuel use with a modern design for demanding earthmoving and quarrying tasks. Its reinforced undercarriage increases stability, while the optimized boom and heavy counterweight allow for larger buckets (up to 3.92 yd³/3 m³). Generation 8 offers higher engine power, greater bucket capacity, and lower fuel consumption.

With hydrostatic drive and Operator Assistance Systems like Free Grade and Definition Grade the PR 736 G8 delivers powerful, precise, and efficient performance in tough conditions maintains accuracy and optimized fuel consumption. The optional LiReCon teleoperation system allows remote operation in challeging environments when needed.

The LH 60 M Industry E provides a robust solution for material handling across a variety of demanding applications. Its electric drive system ensures zero emissions and minimal noise, while maintaining low operating and maintenance costs. With Liebherr's advanced energy recovery technology, the LH 60 M Industry E delivers optimal handling performance alongside decreased energy consumption, supporting efficient and reliable work processes as well as improved overall operational efficiency.

The LTM 1055-3.3 is a 3-axle all-terrain crane with a lightweight design and low axle loads, often eliminating the need for special driving permits. Featuring a 131 ft (40 m) telescopic boom and strong lifting performance at wide radii, it’s well-suited for industrial assembly and tight workspaces.

The LR 1400.1 SX crawler crane, equipped with derrick system and suspended counterweight, is specifically designed for demanding lifting operations and long boom configurations. The VarioTray allows flexible counterweight adjustment without requiring an auxiliary crane, while advanced assistance systems such as “Gradient Travel Aid” and “Boom Up-and-Down Assistant” provide optimal operational safety.

The 38 XXT with its four-part boom and practical Z-folding features straightforward operation and notable reach. Its durable construction guarantees dependable performance over extended periods, while maintaining low operational costs. Extensive storage options enable tailored solutions to accommodate specific customer requirements. The pivoting XXT support system offers enhanced versatility, particularly beneficial in restricted working environments.

The updated K-series from Liebherr features self-erecting cranes equipped with intelligent assistance systems designed to enhance safety and efficiency. Incorporating the innovative Liebherr control system and operating system TC OS 2, the 91 K crane is engineered for future needs. Customers may now select from five intelligent assistance systems: Sway Control, Sway Control Plus, Vertical Line Finder, Guided Hook, and Positioning Pilot. For instance, the Vertical Line Finder function enables sway-free lifting, preventing diagonal pull and thereby improving safety for personnel and sensitive components. The Positioning Pilot offers semi-automated lifts for greater operational comfort. Additionally, variable hook height adjustment and substantial load capacities make these cranes well-suited for complex construction demands.

The Liebherr LB 35.1 drilling rig offers enhanced performance for deep‑foundation applications such as Kelly drilling, CFA drilling and double rotary drilling. With the new lattice boom extension, which can be retrofitted to the LB 35.1 and LB 45.1 models, the rigs can reach drilling depths of up to 123 ft (37.5 m) for full displacement drilling. Equipped with a 603 hp (450 kW) engine and 350 kNm torque, the rig also features reduced‑noise winches with 300 kN line pull, modular components and the ability to transport the machine in one piece with the leader folded. Numerous assistance systems increase automation and safety while a redesigned cab improves ergonomics and operator comfort.

The D946 exhibit impressively demonstrated how used components are remanufactured and given a second life as part of the Liebherr Reman program.
