On March 27, 2019, Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH was honored by COMAC with the “Supplier of the Year 2018 – Win Win Cooperation”-Award based on Liebherr’s activities and achievements regarding the landing gear system of the Chinese regional jet ARJ21 program.
The ceremony took place in Shanghai, during COMAC’s supplier conference.
Dr. Klaus Schneider, Managing Director at Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH commented: “We are very happy and grateful to receive this wonderful award. It reflects the continuous long-term relationship with our customer COMAC. Having also the chance to share the passenger experience on board during a flight of the ARJ21 makes this event even more special for us.”
Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH (Germany) has developed and is responsible for the landing gear system for the ARJ21. Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co., Ltd., the joint venture of Liebherr-Aerospace and Landing-gear Advanced Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (LAMC), a member of AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China), assembles and delivers the landing gears for the regional jet.
