D9920
Power generation
The D9920, the largest engine in the Liebherr D99 series, is designed to deliver dependable power for high-demand, mission-critical applications. Engineered for large-scale genset installations, such as data centers and industrial facilities, it ensures maximum output and consistent performance where reliability is essential. Its robust architecture integrates a single-stage turbocharging system, a high-efficiency blow-by system, and Liebherr’s advanced injection technology. Combined with a coolant-cooled Engine Control Unit, the D9920 supports stable and reliable operation. With a mechanical power output ranging from 2,733 kW to 3,800 kW at 50 Hz, and from 2,847 kW to 4,290 kW at 60 Hz, the engine operates at 1,500 rpm for 50 Hz applications and 1,800 rpm for 60 Hz applications. High-efficiency oil and fuel filtration systems support extended service intervals, contributing to optimized maintenance and enhanced availability. Please note that this engine is currently part of an exclusive partnership and is not commercially available.
