LRB 18

Piling and drilling rig (LRB series)

The all-round piling and drilling rig LRB 18 owes its name to the sledge’s travel distance of 18 m. It convinces with compact design and low operating weight, which results in low ground pressure. This ensures quick set-up on site as well as flexibility in transferring the machine between different jobsites. One of the most frequent types of application for the LRB 18 is the installation of sheet piles. Additionally, the machine is suitable for other common foundation work including drilling with continuous flight auger or double rotary head, soil mixing and piling work with a hydraulic hammer...

Innovative hydraulic concepts achieve high performance and keep fuel consumption low, despite reduced engine power.
An improvement for slurry wall application is the obstacle recognition, which enables the timely detection of obstacles in the soil. This protects both the attachment and the basic machine.
Basic machine and leader can be transported in one piece with all hydraulic hoses connected. The minimized assembly work allows for quick and easy transportation of the machine between jobsites.
Roof railing as well as rear-view and side cameras enhance safety.
The innovative cabin design includes a modern air-conditioning system and an optimized view from the cabin, as well as an orthopaedic operator’s seat. All switches, joysticks and pedals are ergonomically positioned.
The automatic attachment recognition also records performance figures of the respective attachment.
