Innovative products
The product portfolio of Liebherr includes synchronous and asynchronous generators. In order to develop these generators, our specialists are supported by state-of-the-art-technologies for FEM calculations and CFD simulations. Competency and speed are also combined in production - our own laser cutting machines, a test environment according to the latest technical standards and modern VPI impregnation plants play a key role here.
Synchronous generators
GSD synchronous generators are developed especially for use in DEP systems of mining trucks. Thanks to the use of innovative technologies, they impress with their long service life and optimised maintenance intervals - properties which are greatly appreciated in mining.
Squirrel cage generators
Asynchronous generators are based on existing ranges from the motor portfolio. Together with in-house converter and control technology, they are ideal for mobile applications such as road trains or hybrid systems in the maritime area.
