Over 170 sales professionals, dealers, Liebherr representatives, customers and international guests gathered at the 2015 sales seminar and open house held from November 2nd to Friday 6th at the Liebherr Construction Equipment Co. headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.
Key presenters and trainers from Liebherr’s earthmoving and material handler factories located in Germany, Austria and France as well as a dedicated support team from Liebherr in the United States covered sales features and benefits of Liebherr’s equipment range sold and marketed in the US.
The sales seminar consisted of two full field-days where participants had the opportunity to operate and compare key features and benefits of Liebherr’s equipment. Four different demonstration stations were dedicated to feature wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and material handlers respectively. Additionally, a material handling module was held on the third day.

At InnoTrans 2026, Liebherr will unveil its new railroad excavator for the first time: the RE 22 M Litronic. This model expands the existing range to include a machine in the 22-tonne class with hydrostatic rail-wheel drive and is the successor to the A 922 Rail and A 924 Rail. The machine combines tried-and-tested components from the A 922 Rail with a newly developed undercarriage and a new operator's cab.

At InnoTrans running in Berlin (Germany) from September 22 to 25 2026, Liebherr is presenting solutions from the transportation systems and rail-road excavators product areas. Dust, demanding operating conditions and extreme material loads: at the sand and gravel pit near Velká Černoc, Liebherr wheel loaders and mining trucks are demonstrating their full capabilities. Abrasive sand, uneven tracks and demanding multi-shift operation place the highest demands on both man and machine.
