LTR 1150 - Compact and strong, transport in one.

The LTR 1150 adds to our portfolio of telescopic crawler cranes and is positioned precisely between the LTR 1100 and the LTR 1220. The real highlight of the crane is its economical transport concept. No other telescopic crawler crane in this lifting capacity class can be transported in full with its crawler carriers on one low loader. That is also why the crane’s slogan is “Compact and strong, transport in one”. In terms of ballast distribution, a strong emphasis was also placed on ensuring economical worldwide transport. All the counterweight can be ballasted on the crane with just four hoists. Another highlight of the LTR 1150 is the VarioBase® lifting capacity calculation for three fixed track widths. This has been used before on our telescopic mobile cranes and is now available for the first time on an LTR crane.

Thanks to its great manoeuvrability and compact dimensions, sites with little space and low heights do not present a problem for the 150 tonne crane.

Mathematics genius:

VarioBase® calculates the best possible lifting capacity in any crane configuration for three fixed track widths. This results in significant lifting capacity benefits, particularly for large radii and reduced track widths.

Standing steady in the wind:

The wind speed load charts ensure safe operation at various wind speeds. That makes the machine even more attractive for use as an auxiliary crane for wind power.

Technology

ECOmode

ECOmode minimises both fuel consumption and noise emissions when operating the crane superstructure. The crane operator sets the required working speed using the control lever. The crane control system calculates the perfect engine speed for the diesel engine.

RemoteDrive

The RemoteDrive remote control enables the crane to be controlled from outside the driver’s cabin. This is not only possible during crane operations, but also whilst driving on the site. This delivers greater safety and comfort as the crane operator has a better view of problem areas as he can be right next to them. In other words, the operator can move himself to the areas with difficult access.

VarioBase® lifting capacity calculation

The best possible lifting capacity is calculated in real time by the LICCON2 crane control based on the track width and slewing angle.

AutoBallast

The AutoBallast function completes the ballasting process automatically. All the steps are carried out after the button has been pressed just once.

WindSpeed load charts

Increased flexibility and safety by using lifting capacity tables with different maximum wind speeds.

150 tonne lifting capacity

The LTR 1150 is positioned exactly between the LTR 1100 and the LTR 1220. Although the new crane offers around 50 % more lifting capacity than the LTR 1100, it can be transported just as easily and economically as its little brother.
