Liebherr in Australia

The head office of Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. has been situated at the current Para Hills West (Adelaide) location since 1983. Along with the administration building, the complex also comprises a 30,000m² remanufacturing and national distribution centre. The centres allow for complete control of processes and are being established to provide industry best practise standards of remanufactured components and parts for our customers’ fleets. The complex is also home to a 3,500m² production department and major mining bucket manufacture and repair facility.

Tower Cranes

The Liebherr-Australia branch in Pinkenba Brisbane is a 11807m² facility which includes crane and hoist parts and storage, and the sales and support office for tower cranes and construction hoists in the QLD region.

Mining

The Brisbane South office is the hub for Liebherr-Australia mining sales and marketing teams. Present are not only major account holders for Liebherr mining equipment (excavators and trucks) for Queensland, but also the marketing team who are responsible for the Australia-Pacific region.

Earthmoving, mobile cranes and material handling technology

This Liebherr Australia branch in Yatala covers a total of 6,000m² which includes a large warehouse and spacious workshop with heavy duty overhead cranes and a washbay. Out of this facility, mobile crane and earthmoving customers are supported throughout the state of Queensland with both technical and sales specialists.

Mining

The Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. branch in Mackay has been a part of the Queensland Mining District for over 20 years from as far as North Bowen Basin through to Callide Basin and west to the Galilee Basin. The local workforce provides customers with mine site project management, product and technical support, field service and maintenance, excavator and truck building, parts sales, machine and maintenance training, with support from management and administration teams. The branch encompasses an administration building with office space of 1,500m² and two warehouses totalling 4,300m².

Earthmoving, mobile cranes and material handling technology

The Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. branch in Dandenong supports the mobile crane and earthmoving industry within the state of Victoria and region. Liebherr factory trained staff provide customers with product and technical support, field service, maintenance, spare parts and machine sales. With a large warehouse and workshop, this facility supports our local customers promptly and efficiently.

Mining

The Liebherr-Australia Pty.Ltd. branch in Mt Thorley supports the mining industry within the Hunter Valley, and the NSW region. Approximately 100 employees provide customers with product and technical support, field service and maintenance, parts sales, machine sales, machine and maintenance training, and machine construction. The Mt Thorley branch has an office space of 2,000m², with a warehouse of around 1,600m².

Mining

The warehouse complex is Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. parts storage facility for Liebherr’s mining equipment. This facility includes amenities and administration area of 1,500m², as well as an external hardstand and associated car parking.

Mining, earthmoving, components, crawler cranes and material handling technology

The Liebherr-Australia Pty.Ltd. Redcliffe facility houses our mining division’s state-of-the-art parts warehouse of 5,000m² and service workshop of 3,000m². The Redcliffe location is also home to sales account managers for the earthmoving, components and crawler cranes & foundation cranes divisions.

Mobile cranes

The East Rockingham branch of Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. serves as the central hub for all mobile crane services in Western Australia and provide our customers with product and technical support, service, parts and machine sales. The 5,000m² site includes a spacious 1,600m² workshop with internal gantry crane, large spare parts warehouse and office, plus a dedicated wash bay and hard stand area.
