Focus on industry and construction: Cunzolo strengthens its fleet with Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 mobile crane

Cunzolo Máquinas e Equipamentos Ltda., based in São José dos Campos (Brazil), specialises in the hire, operation and maintenance of machinery for transporting loads and personnel on construction sites. With the purchase of the new mobile crane from Liebherr, the transport company is highlighting its strong desire to be at the vanguard of technical development, safety and superlative quality - and is thereby positioning itself clearly as a reliable partner to the industrial and construction sector. The machine is designed to perfectly handle the growing demands of modern industrial and construction environments where performance, reach and versatility are key.

Marcos Cunzolo, the Director of Cunzolo, reports that the LTM 1230-5.1 was purchased specifically for complex lifting work - for example when lifting air-conditioning systems, heavy components and complex constructions in industrial settings. The 230-tonne model will also be used for the assembly of construction cranes in future. “The choice was made in favour of the Liebherr mobile crane because of its modern technical features. The telescopic boom supports wide reaches, the variable VarioBallast® counterweight offers flexibility and the various operating modes make the 5-axle crane a real all-rounder for all kinds of applications. “With a load capacity of up to 230 tones and a maximum lifting height of 111 metres, the LTM 1230-5.1 is especially suited to jobs with steep boom positions and high hook heights, thereby perfectly meeting the company's requirements.

Longstanding partnership with Liebherr

The collaboration between Cunzolo Máquinas e Equipamentos Ltda. and Liebherr has been stepped up in recent years and has already produced numerous joint projects. In 2024, the company had already expanded its fleet with an LTM 1250-5.1 and an LTM 1120-4.1.
