Training possibilities
The Training Academy offers a range of courses, all available in 3 languages (EN/DE/FR).
Instructor led training (ILT)
We offer a large range of in-person training. The goal is to mix the theory with some practical exercices.
Virtual classroom (VC)
Dynamic and theoretical content is taught in a virtual space using MS TEAMS. An eLearning lesson on the MS TEAMS subject must be completed in advance in order to take part in the virtual classes.
Web-based training (WBT)
Web-based training is a flexible, cost-effective way to deliver knowledge. Always accessible online, it offers short, learner-centered modules, saves travel time, and ensures minimal disruption to professional activities.
Web-based training is an important part of the new training concept for the transmission of practical and theoretical knowledge.
Our WBT offer will be continuously integrated into our training program and regularly made available in TELL.
Training levels
Fundamentals
The trainee is familiar with the basics of the science school subjects behind the operation of each COT product. Examples: mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, electronics, chemistry, materials engineering.
Basic
The trainee knows the COT product portfolio and applications. He/she is able to use the correct terminology to describe and explain the basics of the structure and operation of the respective COT products.He/she knows the preventive maintenance measures and is able to correctly perform maintenance activities on the respective COT products according to SL 1 and/or 2.
Advanced
The trainee has a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of COT products. He/she uses and applies the acquired skills to diagnose fault symptoms. He/She analyzes and evaluates the situation, performs measurements and tests, understands the interaction between components and finally identifies the cause(s) of the failure. He/She knows the corrective maintenance procedures and is able to correctly perform maintenance activities on the respective COT products according to SL 3.
Expert
The training participant is able to independently, correctly and efficiently perform diagnostics on the respective COT products. He/she is able to professionally justify his/her diagnostic method or procedure and the resulting decisions. He/she is able to correctly perform repairs and/or REMAN on the respective COT products according to SL 4 and/or 5.
