The D9612 V12 engine sets new standards for power in heavy tactical platforms. Featuring increased displacement and Liebherr’s advanced injection system, it delivers the power-to-weight ratios required in the heavy vehicle segment while reducing fuel and oil consumption. Backed by a proven civil platform with over 2,000 units in operation since 2016 and more than 47,000 hours of test bench validation, the engine ensures outstanding reliability. Thanks to Liebherr’s in-house engine control system, the D9612 can be optimized for different duty cycles and a wide range of fuel types, making it ideally suited for demanding heavy military missions.
