Yaw systems
Yaw gearboxes, so called wind tracking mechanisms, adjust the nacelle to the particular wind direction. In order to transmit the required high adjustment forces, the use of several slewing drives is recommended.
Pitch systems
Pitch gearboxes control the angles of attack of the rotor blades and adapt them to the variable wind speeds. For highest accuracy at rotor blade positioning, Liebherr offers slewing drives with reduced play upon request.
