Liebherr-Aerospace will participate in MRO Asia-Pacific 2015, which will be held from November 3 to 5 at the Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore. At booth n° 524, the company will present its capabilities in servicing its product lines: air management, flight control and actuation systems and landing gear systems. “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors and customers to discuss business opportunities and share information about the MRO market. Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.
