Liebherr-Aerospace is looking forward to welcoming its customers and partners at its booth in the Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity in New Delhi, during this unique MRO event in India, the third largest and fastest growing aviation market in the world. Representatives from Liebherr-Aerospace’s new Indian office (inaugurated this year in Bangalore) and from the Asia-Pacific region will participate in panel conferences about the MRO market. They will discuss local business opportunities, in a country where the commercial aircraft fleet is expected to increase three-fold over the next two decades.
Liebherr-Aerospace has been implementing a long-term strategy to enlarge its footprint in India, which leads to the development of activities and growth of the team on site.
The seventh edition of Aero MRO India Aerospace & Defence will focus on the “OEM Support to India” topic. Liebherr supplies electromechanical rudder actuator for Phenom 300EV – a milestone in civil aviation
Liebherr-Aerospace has signed an agreement with Embraer to become part of the rudder-by-wire upgrade of the flight control system for the Phenom 300EV. The upgrade includes an electromechanical rudder actuator with integrated control and power electronics. It is one of the world’s first primary flight control applications of an electromechanical actuator (EMA) for a rudder on a civil aircraft. Furthermore, it is the first rudder EMA with fully integrated electronics.
