Aside from direct entry, our trainee programme is another opportunity for graduates to enter the world of work. Within a pre-determined period of time, graduates pass through various areas and departments. They gain a comprehensive insight into the company and will develop into entry level professionals who are able to work in a variety of roles.

Events
Networking day
- Creating networks between the trainees is an important goal of the trainee programme. This is why the network day was created
- All trainees worldwide meet together and get to know each other for one or two days
Final event
- The Final event at the end of the programme also offers an opportunity to consolidate contacts, learn from each other and celebrate the completion of the trainee programme together

Training courses
- During the entire programme, both basic training courses (e.g. Intercultural Management and Project Management) and specialist courses are offered
- In addition, you are supported during the entire programme by a mentor who acts as your contact person and to whom you can turn at any time

Period abroad
- You will spend at least three months at one of our many global Liebherr sites
- There, you will not only get to know another company, but also learn about other cultures and countries and, in addition, further expand your language skills
- This will help to expand your international network and promote your further personal development

Stages
- You will run through an agreed trainee plan in various areas of activity
- At least one period abroad is mandatory
- A further period of time spent in another Liebherr company is also part of the programme
- You will become familiar with many different areas within the company and within the Liebherr group of companies

You can complete the trainee programme in the following areas:

- Engineering (mechanical or industrial engineering)
- Sales and service
- IT
- Quality management
- Production
- Purchasing
- Finance and administration
- Project management and project management logistics
- Human Resources

Qualifications that you will have:
- Course of study at university/college: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed or nearing the end of the study course
- Very good performance
- Fluent English
- Open to and interested in other cultures and international mobility
