Transports Toussaint takes delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1055‑3.3 mobile crane

“With its high mobility and roadworthiness, the LTM 1055-3.3 fits perfectly with our fleet strategy and expands our range of operations in the regional lifting business,” says Tony Toussaint, Head of Lifting Technology at Les Transports Toussaint. With this new addition to its fleet, Les Transports Toussaint is one of the first companies in France to have taken delivery of the new LTM 1055-3.3. “We opted for the mobile crane because, with 9 tonnes of ballast, it can travel on public roads with an axle load of 12 tonnes. This makes the LTM 1055-3.3 ideal for use as a ‘taxi crane’,” explains Toussaint.

The crane enables operations without the need to transport additional counterweights and significantly reduces set-up and travel times. In addition to its mobility, the LTM 1055-3.3 impresses with its lifting capacity, particularly at longer reaches: With a maximum lifting capacity of 55 tonnes, a 40-metre-long telescopic boom, lifting heights of up to 54 metres and a maximum outreach of 46 metres, the LTM 1055‑3.3 ranks among the most powerful mobile cranes in its class.

Lifting solutions with state-of-the-art mobile crane technology

The new LTM 1055-3.3 has completed its first assignment in the Greater Paris area. The mobility of the new LTM 1055-3.3 enables the Toussaint Group to create synergies and offer its customers a comprehensive service covering the entire logistics chain.

At the end of 2025, Les Transports Toussaint had already put a Liebherr LTM 1090‑4.2 ‘taxi crane’ into service. This latest expansion of the fleet underlines the company’s continued confidence in Liebherr’s solutions and its focus on flexible crane operations. “Our fleet is characterised by modern, high-performance and practical technology.
