Rothmund boosts crane fleet with three mobile cranes from Liebherr

Heiko Brückner, Managing Director of Rothmund, visited the Liebherr plant in Ehingen to receive his LTM 1350-6.1 in July. "All three cranes fully satisfy our need to extend our crane fleet", states Heiko Brückner, adding: "The 350-tonne crane offers tremendous lifting capacity with its Y telescopic boom guying. That makes it the best crane for our company and now also the largest in our fleet." The LTM 1030-2.1 ordered by Rothmund lives up to its role as a fast-erecting crane, as it is able to drive on the road with a part ballast of 2.3 tonnes. "The combination of part load and VarioBase® variable support system increases the crane's lifting capacity enormously", explains Heiko Brückner.

Rothmund is entering new territory with the newly procured Liebherr telescopic crawler crane LTR 1100. The Managing Director declares: "Although new to us, we intend to use this type of crane for concreting work or on long-term construction sites in future. The LTR 1100 is set to excel at driving with loads on the building site."

Rothmund GmbH Kran und Montage is celebrating its 35th anniversary as a company this year. The Pforzheim-based crane contractor currently employs 48 staff and has over 20 cranes, 10 forklifts with lifting capacity from two to 16 tonnes, low-loaders and inloaders as well as loading cranes in its inventory. The company is also able to transport machines across Europe.
