Liebherr Receives 2016 Bronze SQIP Award from Airbus

On the occasion of “SQIP Day” in March 2017 in Toulouse (France), an event organized by Airbus and gathering the main suppliers engaged in the Supply Chain and Quality Improvement Program Initiative (SQIP), the aircraft manufacturer presented the award to Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS for its excellent performance on Airbus series programs.

Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse’s operational performances have been remarkable over the past six months, with a delivery quality performance of less than 500ppm (R1), an on-time delivery performance above 99% and no quality alert notified by Airbus. The continuous improvement of Liebherr’s key processes, such as the wide deployment of QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control), has enabled to achieve an excellent delivery quality level. The result reflects the industrial maturity of Liebherr-Aerospace’s production sites.

Liebherr-Aerospace supplies in total more than 50,000 different systems and components to the Airbus Group.
