Liebherr will be exhibiting refrigeration and freezer units, which are specially designed for use in the laboratory or medical sector, from 14 to 17 November 2016 at the world's most important trade fair for medical equipment in Düsseldorf. The company's exhibit will focus on large-volume units with advanced electronics, which stand out thanks to their precise adjustment options and convenient alarm and safety functions.
A central topic of the trade fair are the advances in digital networking as part of Industry 4.0. Liebherr Domestic Appliances and software company Microsoft are currently collaborating on a refrigeration unit which provides customers from the pharmaceutical industry and medical sector with new possibilities for remote monitoring and predictive maintenance. Predictive maintenance uses intelligent data analysis to diagnose unexpected failures and imminent breakdowns at an early stage so that the required maintenance can be carried out.
