Liebherr-Aerospace Suppliers‘ Day 2023 a success

After a long four-year break, Liebherr-Aerospace’s Suppliers' Day was held again in person. This time, the meeting took place on September 6, 2023 at the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen (Germany).

The procurement departments of Liebherr-Aerospace had invited their suppliers and more than 300 participants from all over the world followed eagerly the invitation. The attendees were happy to take part in direct conversations and exchange views about the challenges our industry is confronted with today.

During presentations, representatives of Liebherr-Aerospace emphasized that the target of Liebherr is to provide its customers with advanced products and technologies, right in quality and right in time. In order to reach this goal, the supply chain must re-gain its resilience to overcome challenges like the quick ramp-up of aircraft production, material availability, competitive pricing and lack of skilled workforce. At the same time, suppliers must accept the transformation of our industry towards digitalization, sustainability, as well as corporate responsibility and compliance.

The event ended with the note: “If everyone sticks together and pulls in the same direction, extraordinary things can be achieved. Each individual is essential in realizing the goal.”
