The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a vital role in our recruitment process ensuring that we attract, select, and hire top-tier talent to help drive our organization forward. The TA will be responsible for the full life cycle of recruitment at Liebherr Canada.
An ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with potential candidates will be critical to our success.
Responsibilities
- Use various proactive sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to regularly identify potential candidates
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs
- Participate in external events as identified
- Conduct initial video/in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, soft and technical skills.
- Coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers as requested
- Partner closely and build rapport with department heads and hiring managers to thoroughly understand their staffing needs
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process, offering insights on candidate assessments and valuing a positive candidate experience..
- Accurately extend job offers in a timely manner and negotiate compensation packages with selected candidates.
- Oversee the Onboarding process together with our HR Specialists, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires
- Use Liebherr's applicant tracking system (ATS) as the source of truth for all informations and stages of the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Identify and work on areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the recruitment process
- Act as Liebherr's Brand and Community Ambassador, fostering Liebherr's culture and values to all parties involved in the recruitment process.
Competencies
- At least 3 years as a Talent Acquisition Specialist/ Recruiter in both union and non-union environment
- Bilingualism Required - French and English - Written and Spoken
- Demonstrated proficiency in full cycle recruitment working in-house in a corporate setting
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated expertise with ATS's, reposting and data analysis
- HR Generalist experience considered an asset
- Discretion with confidential, private and sensitive information and data
- MS Office, HRIS and ATS software proficiency
