Responsibilities
- Support to implement and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with aviation regulatory requirements;
- Involve in project development and daily operation, to evaluate the design, construction, implementation phases from safety expertise;
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are updated, communicated, and adhered to by personnel;
- Prepare and update the safety procedure at MRO operation level according to relevant regulation requirements.
- Ensure the HX operations comply with all relevant safety standards and regulations;
- Carry out titration check to maintain bath performance in surface treatment process;
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and auditors during inspections and reviews.
- Compile the training material and in charge of operational safety training for new employees and suppliers onboarding, and refresher trainings;
- Prepare and organize operational emergency response in MRO.
- Lead investigations into safety incidents, near-misses, and hazards;
- Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions;
- Organize accident investigation and root cause analysis within operation.
- Track and analyse safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement;
- Coordinate and liaise with EHS and ISO audits, working closely with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to address safety concerns;
- Evaluate the qualification of supplier and apply for work permit;
- Perform on-site surveillance for contractor tasks and operation activities to ensure safety, and provide regular safety reports to management.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks related to HX operations;
- Perform risk analysis for Hazard Chemical Management and Special Equipment Management, and suggest preventive measures to ensure compliance;
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to prevent incidents;
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans;
- Conduct drills and exercises to test emergency procedures and readiness;
- Any other tasks required by superior.
Competencies
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Major in Safety, Engineering, Chemical and etc.
- Familiar with requirements of ISO14001, ISO9001/AS9100 standards and relevant regulations.
- Certificates for Safety Engineer or Chemical Engineer is preferrable.
- At least 3 years working experience in a manufacturing, engineering or chemistry company.
- Familiar with hazard chemical and special equipment requirements including pressure vessel and pressure pipe.
- Proficient MS office skills.
- Skilled in written and oral English.
