Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

ECAD Library Development & Support

• Create and maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models using Siemens Xpedition/EDM tools.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-7351 and other footprint standards.
• Support tool testing, feature deployment, and integration across engineering platforms.

Component Engineering

• Select, qualify, and manage components considering electrical, mechanical, and environmental constraints.
• Maintain lifecycle data, manage EOL/NRND risks, support Alternate finding and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (RoHS, REACH, ITAR) and prepare qualification documentation.
• Support audits with detailed component records and traceability.

Supplier & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with German colleagues, distributors and manufacturers for sourcing and qualification.
• Maintain AML/AVL and assess supplier reliability.
• Collaborate with design and procurement teams to ensure component performance and availability in harsh environments.

Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 2-5 years in ECAD library development and component engineering (preferably aerospace/industrial).

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of electronic components and electromechanical parts.
• Proficiency in Mentor Graphics tools (Xpedition, PADS, DXdatabook, Zuken, Altium) or similar ECAD platforms.
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems (IHS, SAP, Windchill, Silicon Expert).
• Understanding of IPC standards, risk mitigation, and industry certifications.

Soft Skills

• Adaptable to shifting priorities with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and proactive problem solver.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
