About the role

Join our dynamic team at Liebherr-Australia, a leading provider of innovative heavy equipment solutions. We are currently seeking skilled HD Mechanical Fitters to work on our customer sites throughout Western Australia on the full range of Liebherr mining machines. You will be building and commissioning mining machines with new technologies and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect plant and equipment for conformity with established standards
• Diagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
• Diagnose and rectify minor electrical faults
• Repair damaged or faulty parts by machining & welding or fabricating new parts
• Inspect plant and equipment for conformity
• Assemble mechanical and structural parts of the build
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to optimise equipment performance.

About you

• Relevant qualification plus at least 1 year of relevant experience OR at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery
• Strong commitment to safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Liebherr mining equipment experience advantageous.
