From 11 to 15 June 2018 Liebherr will be represented for the first time with a stand at the Frankfurt-based trade fair Achema. The leading trade fair for process technology is considered the most important trade fair in the laboratory sector. The new MediLine devices, which were developed especially for the storage of sensitive samples and specimens, are showcased, among other things. The devices were equipped with an explosion-proof interior for enhanced safety during the storage of combustible materials.
SmartMonitoring is another key topic at the Liebherr exhibition stand. Liebherr offers a variety of intelligent solutions for monitoring professional fridges and freezers. Customers benefit from enhanced safety in daily use, as well as from the option to be able to access machine data from anywhere at any time. The SmartMonitoring dashboard offers additional convenience for device monitoring: The temperatures, alarm messages, and operating data of the devices are recorded and saved. In the event of undesired temperature deviations, not only an acoustic alarm, but also a visual temperature or door alarm are also activated. The users also receive a message via the dashboard and by e-mail. Thanks to this smart monitoring technology, the Liebherr machines meet the highest requirements of reliability and safety.

Liebherr is increasing the overall service life of its Fibre ropes from 14 to 16 years, with the decisive period of use rising to up to 12 years. This is based on multi-year ageing trials on test rigs and analyses of ropes already in field. The new ruling applies automatically to all new ropes and those already in the field. This step forms part of Liebherr's ongoing path towards establishing Fibre technology as the new standard in the tower crane market.
