The Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co., Ltd. joint venture founded in 2012 develops and produces landing gear systems for the Chinese aerospace industry as well as for the international aerospace market. The first project is the landing gear for the COMAC C919 airliner. Additionally, the company will work on the landing gear systems for the Chinese ARJ21 regional jet and for other programs in the years ahead.

In 2025, the company moved into a modern, new location in the Yongchuan duty-free zone. The spacious site covers around 11,600 m² and offers ideal conditions for efficient processes and innovative solutions. The location comprises approximately 6,400 m² of air-conditioned assembly space, 2,400 m² of representative office space, 1,400 m² of storage capacity, and a 1,400 m² cold storage hall for goods receipt and shipping.

In the in-house showroom, visitors can experience state-of-the-art manufacturing technology up close – including the LC 280 DC gear hobbing machine and the LGG 280 gear grinding machine. Well-equipped training rooms are available for technology and user training, offering optimal conditions for knowledge transfer and further education.

Liebherr Machinery (Dalian) Co., Ltd., located in the northern Chinese port city of Dalian, is a manufacturing company specialising in earthmoving equipment. The company focuses on the development and production of high-quality machines for the Chinese market and international customers. Its product portfolio includes crawler excavators, wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, crawler dozers and material handling machines. Liebherr Components (Dalian) Co., Ltd. in the northern port city of Dalian manufactures gearboxes for the wind industry, earthmoving machines and other industries. Furthermore, the company produces slewing bearings, which are also primarily used in the wind industry, as well as hydraulic cylinders for construction machines.

Liebherr (HGK) Limited was established in 1994 in Hong Kong with the aim to expand sales activities in the product areas of crawler cranes, both duty cycle and lift version, as well as piling and drilling rigs throughout Southeast and East Asian regions. In the year 2000, a new sales and service company with a total area of 23,000 m² was founded. It fulfills the latest market requirements and offers complete customer service thanks to an incorporated repair and maintenance workshop, a customer service and spare parts centre as well as a training centre. In this facility about 100 experienced workers provide superior service to customers.
