LH 22 M Industry with Westtech Woodcracker® CS610 compact

Attachments with a larger cutting diameter can be attached straight to the Liebherr tilt kinematics stick for working in close proximity. This makes a reach of up to 11.8 m (38‘9‘‘) possible. The maximum stability required for this is achieved by the well-designed geometry of the outriggers on the machine. Its ability to change between attachments, such as a sorting or wood grab, also makes the LH 22 M suitable for use for everyday handling work.

LH 22 M Industry with Liebherr Stick Extension and Westtech-Woodcracker® C250

The combination of the Liebherr stick extension and a lightweight cutting tool is the perfect solution for reaching distant trees and shrubs. This equipment combination enables a reach of up to 13.8 m (45‘3‘‘) to be achieved. The operator can change the attachment quickly, conven-iently and safely as often as required without leaving the cab using the fully hydraulic Solidlink quick coupler system. This means, for example, that a mill, mulcher or ditch clean-ing bucket can be attached for clearing ditches immediately after the timber in and around them has been cut back.

Trimming high trees and thick branches is a particular challenge. The LH 22 M, fitted with Solidlink and a 4 m (13‘1‘‘) telescopic stick, has a total reach of up to 16.5 m (54‘2‘‘). In this configuration, the machine can reach extremely high up into the trees so that it can cut back whatever is necessary. The hydraulically height-adjustable cab with 30° infinitely tilt function provides the operator with perfect visibility of the working area.

30° infinitely variable tilting cab

The hydraulic, height-adjustable, infinitely variable tilting cab up to 30° provides the operator with a perfect view of the working area. The latest cab design provides a perfect environment for healthy, concentrated and productive work in maximum comfort. The ideal view provided by the large windows enhances the operator's safety and ensures that they can handle the machine safely at all times.

Safety equipment

The safety of the operator is paramount. Optional safety equipment such as the cab roof guard and the front guard provide the operator with maximum safety and protection from heavy falling items.

The overload warning system constantly supplies the operator with information about the machine’s current payload situation. That means that in the event of an overload, functions, which would result in the machine tipping over, are disabled and the only possible movements are those which will return it to a safe operating range.

Excellent stability

The safe, firm stability of the machine is a basic requirement to ensure precise, fast work. The design of the Liebherr undercarriage enhances the way in which the force is dissipated through the components and minimises the stress on them. Together with the 4-point outrigger support, this guarantees maximum stability with maximum reach.

Solidlink

Solidlink is Liebherr’s fully hydraulic quick change system. The combination of a hydraulic Liebherr quick change system with the Solidlink coupling block means that mechanical and hydraulic attachments can be changed quickly and safely. Westtech tools feature an adapter panel which enables them to be changed quickly in comfort and adjusted to suit the job in hand without leaving the cab. A wide range of standard equipment and options, such as proximity sensors, hose protection and signal contacts ensure maximum efficiency, flexibility and safety when working in forests and tree care.
