After Sales Supervisor - Weston-Super-MareBristol
A vacancy has arisen within our Earth Moving After Sales department based in Weston-Super-Mare for an After Sales Supervisor.
The role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain through the effective supervision of the depot staff and Field Service Engineer’s time and workloads. The role will strive to ensure administrative procedures are adhered to and developed whilst working within the Company’s key result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead the daily operations of the Bristol depot, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) regulations and efficient resource allocation.
• Monitor and maintain Utilisation and Work in Progress (WIP) targets. Liaise with the administration team to ensure jobs move through the processes to timely invoicing (within 30 days).
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing high-level technical assistance to field service engineers and customers.
• Drive revenue growth by meeting annual targets for parts sales, servicing, and repair contracts.
• Work with the Service Controller(s) to ensure all service-related repairs are accurately estimated and converted into commercial opportunities.
• Lead your team through structured performance tools, including appraisals, return-to-work interviews, managing holidays and sickness cover and regular performance reviews.
• Facilitate monthly toolbox talks, weekly depot meetings and ensure all engineers receive the necessary technical training to remain at the forefront of the industry.
• Build strong, long-term internal and external customer relationships through proactive communication and promotional activities.
• Act as the escalation point for customer disputes, with the assistance of the Product Support Managers, resolve invoice queries or service issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure every interaction provides high-level, customer-focused product support to maintain brand reputation.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will require the following:
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within the Plant Industry.
• Previous technical and plant engineering experience.
• Team player with a flexible approach to work.
• Good communicator at all levels.
