Responsibilities

• Negotiate and submit contracts for review.
• Processing of incoming and outgoing purchase orders.
• Issue and follow up purchasing orders according to project requirement.
• Collect supplier performance data and ensure supplier relationship management.
• Maintain and ensure valid procurement data in ERP.
• Responsible for document management.
• Assist in updating the suppliers management procedure and process.
• Follow up with the supplier to make sure the on-time delivery of machine assembly parts.
• Comply with and implement the compliance, IT security and the EHS requirements as required for the role; attend EHS-related trainings and report/take urgent actions as required once an emergency or EHS-related risk is discovered.
• Communication with sales for the machine orders and delivery time.
• Maintain and keep updating on the BOM.
• Prepare and schedule the material and labor according to the production plan.
• Comply with and implement the compliance, IT security and the EHS requirements as required for the role; attend EHS-related trainings and report/take urgent actions as required once an emergency or EHS-related risk is discovered.
• Other tasks to be assigned by supervisor.

Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Business, Operations/Supply Chain, or Engineering
• CRM such as SAP or Baan, MS excel
• At least 5-year above relevant work experience.
• CRM experience such as SAP and Baan preferred
• Be familiar with purchasing process in manufacturing industry.
• Sensitivity to market price and material cost.
• Basic knowledge of quality system.
• Customs clearance of import and export material is a plus
• Good oral and written English.
• Communication and negotiation skills,
• MS working tools, PPT, excel, outlook…
