We use EcoVadis to quantify our progress in the areas of corporate responsibility and sustainability. EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted providers of sustainability ratings for companies. The holistic evaluation is based on four central themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The overall rating is obtained from a weighted average of these four individual ratings.

With a total score of 71 points, we are among the top 15 % of all companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
Only 8 % of all companies and around 5 % of companies in our industry achieved a rating of 71 out of 100 points.
The progress on our EcoVadis journey
The EcoVadis sustainability assessment of Liebherr-Hausgeräte began at the Lienz site. No assessment was made after the initial participation in 2020. From 2022, the scope of the evaluation was significantly expanded: Since then, all production sites worldwide have been included in the EcoVadis rating. This means that Liebherr-Hausgeräte’s commitment to sustainability is captured on a global level and continually developed.

About EcoVadis
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of sustainability rankings for companies. In a comprehensive process, EcoVadis evaluates commitment in the areas of environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement. The evaluations also take into account factors such as the sector, size and location of the companies. Over 100,000 companies are currently inspected by EcoVadis. These evaluations are based on international corporate responsibility standards – for example, the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and DIN ISO 26000 “Guidance on social responsibility”.
