To support our digitalization team in Ulm, we are looking for motivated students in the area of Embedded Software and Embedded Linux.

An ideal candidate is a passionate software developer, has a basic understanding of embedded software architectures and Linux based systems, some first experience with connectivity technologies, and is highly motivated to make an impact as part of an enthusiastic team.

Your responsibilities

• Help implementing embedded IoT application and connectivity software components
• Develop modern embedded Linux based system components
• Prepare and Support early prototyping of various connectivity standards and upcoming technologies in the Internet of Things
• Create and setup continuous integration concepts and pipelines
• Support testing and implement automateded test systems

Your qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Advanced skills in developing C++/Rust applications
• Experience in working on and with Linux systems, Yocto is a plus
• High degree of motivation & ability to collaborate in a team
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German & English
