New production hall for aviation equipment inaugurated
In January Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS, France, has officially inaugurated a new production hall measuring 61 metres long and 33 metres wide in its plant in Campsas. Thus Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS has created an additional area of 2000 m² which allows to concetrate the entire production of high precision components at this site.
One part of the production was so far situated in Toulouse and has now been relocated to Campsas, including more than 65 machines (amongst them numerous CNC-machines). Further, the number of employees increased from 70 to about 130 persons. The relocation of the production was an important step to take some of the load off the Liebherr production plant in Toulouse which had reached capacity limits.
