In the latest review of refrigerators by Stiftung Warentest, the BioFresh CBNPes 3956 standalone fridge-freezer from Liebherr was the overall winner and received the rating "very good". With an overall grade of 1.7, the BioFresh ICBP 3166 was the top-rated fitted appliance. A total of nine fitted fridge-freezers and 13 standalone appliances were tested. The results were published in the October 10/2009 of "test" magazine.
The assessment criteria were ease of use, freezing and storage, power consumption, warning and general indicators, equipment and technical features.
"Cool, energy-efficient combined appliances" was the heading used by Stiftung Warentest following the latest refrigerator tests. Another good performance by the Liebherr appliances at Stiftung Warentest underlines the importance of innovative consumer benefits, high-quality convenience features and high energy efficiency for the acceptance of today's fridge-freezers.
