The drum's direction of rotation is controlled using an ergonomically designed one-handed control lever. Only the direction of rotation and the speed of the drum need to be set – the intelligent oil flow control system automatically takes care of the torque. The drum can be quickly and gently stopped using a button on the top of the lever. Using a memory function, a stored speed and direction of rotation can be activated – this is especially useful, for example, when filling concrete skips for cranes. Because the one-handed control lever is operated intuitively, the driver can concentrate on watching the unloading procedure or the site.

LED indicators on the clearly laid-out operating panel show the driver the current direction of rotation and speed of the drum, as well as the loading or unloading status. This control panel also contains backlit buttons for all the mixer functions. Depending on the equipment level of the mixer, these include buttons for alternative or emergency operation, starting and stopping the engine and the working floodlights. The entire unit is protected against water jets in accordance with IP69K and is therefore suitable for heavy-duty use on construction sites.

The new Litronic®-EMC mixer control system not only increases comfort but also brings significant advantages for the mixer truck operator in terms of costs. Load-dependent engine speed regulation protects the truck engine and reduces fuel consumption. Slow drum rotation while the vehicle is moving prevents the concrete from unmixing. The "Constant Speed Drive" function ensures that the drum turns at a constant low speed regardless of the engine speed while the vehicle is moving, thus saving up to 20% of drum rotations. This greatly reduces wear on the drum and increases the service life of the mixer truck. Thanks to a CAN bus function, remote evaluation of various operating parameters is possible.

Using the optional cab control unit, all the functions can be operated from inside the cab, for example activating Constant Speed Drive when the vehicle is moving. For increased safety, the control unit on the rear can be locked against unauthorised use.
