Bauma 2007 will be Liebherr’s first opportunity to unveil the redesigned R 313 Litronic crawler excavator to the international trade. This machine is the smallest in the current range of Liebherr crawler excavators. Despite its compact dimensions, the R 313 Litronic with its 74.9 kW / 102 hp charge air-cooled turbo diesel engine is extremely powerful.
The operating weight of the standard version of the R 313 Litronic is approx. 14.2 tonnes. The exhibit to be displayed at Bauma is fitted with a 3.2 m long hydraulic adjustable boom, a 2.65 m long stick and a 1,250 mm wide backhoe bucket. Three other versions of the R 313 Litronic are available as options: a 3.3-m boom with additional lateral hydraulic adjustment, and two monobloc booms, either 4.6 m in length or, with lateral adjustment, 4.3 m in length. Sticks of 2.05 m, 2.25 m, 2.45 m or 2.65 m length can be fitted to all the boom versions.
The drive system of the new compact crawler excavator is equipped with numerous technological refinements. Examples of these are the sensor-controlled automatic idling mode and fuel prefilter with centrifugal separator and a dirt particle filter system upstream of the air filter. The working speed is steplessly adjustable thanks to a rotary switch. This enables precision or power work to be carried out with ease.
