With the aim of further strengthening the Liebherr Group’s international market position in the maritime sector, Liebherr has built an additional production location with an overall area of 220,000 square metres in the Rostock harbour area to manufacture large machines with tare weights of up to 500 t. The new facility comprises two production buildings and an administrative block including a total of 56,000 sq. m of new built-over area.
The production of maritime cranes in Rostock has been started in the course of 2005. |
