A new milling head allows cutting of case hardened internal gears

The latest generation of internal milling heads for platforms 3 and 4 of our gear hobbing machines are based on a new concept and allow - due to their rigid design - the cutting of case hardened internal gears. The quality obtained by this method corresponds to class 6 according to Din 3960. Common grade and quality carbide tools are used for this application. These internal milling heads create new possibilities for hard finishing internal gears.
