At the end of October 2004, the directors of four aircraft components suppliers – Liebherr-Aerospace, Diehl Avionik Systeme, Thales and Zodiac – signed a shareholders’ agreement to create OEMServices S.A.S., a joint service company based in Toulouse-Blagnac, France.

OEMServices will provide aglobal support network for Airbus A380 operators, including stocks and logistics to ensure availability of spare parts in strategic areas, and will also operate customer service agencies.

In addition, the new service consortium will offer pay-by-hour spare-parts logistics and repair services to airlines operating all types of single-aisle or long-haul Airbus machines.
